In 2010 Ayala Studio was launched in San Rafael, just north of the Golden Gate Bridge. We’re a creative studio specializing in advertising, branding and design for a variety of clients, with an emphasis on the California wine industry.

Ron Werthmann, founder and creative lead, brings a wealth of experience as an advertising veteran. He dedicated the majority of his career to art and creative direction, contributing his talents to renowned global ad agencies like Ogilvy & Mather, Foote Cone & Belding, Anderson & Lembke, and Young & Rubicam. His diverse experience encompasses everything from groundbreaking tech launches to the production of the first soda drink commercial filmed in zero gravity. Over the years, these projects have enriched his professional expertise. Notable past agency clients include Microsoft, MSN, Intel, HP, eBay, 7UP, EA, Invisalign, Levi Strauss, Dockers, Disney, and Blue Shield of California.
