Appellations Wines

Identity | Packaging

The Appellations wine brand built its reputation on blending a single grape from each of Napa’s Thirteen sub-appellations, for a true Napa wine experience. As additional sub-appellations were approved, vintages were then called Fourteen, Fifteen and Sixteen appellations.

The vines wrap around the bottle representing the number of sub-appellatons with the number intertwined into the center vine. Artfully executed with metallic silver ink silk-screened on dark imported glass.

What did they do with their premium left-overs from each of the sub-appellations? Well, create another wine brand of course. Appropriately named, One of Sixteen.

The cluster of metallic dots represent each of Napa Valley’s sub-appellations, while graphically defining the shape of the valley and then highlighting where that one particular premium grape is from.
